We’re gonna party on
From near an’ far transit and car
crowds started heading down
Now Robson Street’s for trendy treats
the street of consumer dreams
Mucho boutiques post new wave freaks
Starbucks’ brews and beans
I walked along greeting the throng
and toasted both the teams
Three blocks on along Robson
I run into my friends
we jump and shout cavort about
we’re not making amends
We feel so free my friends and me
wandering through the stream
Most young guys were drunk or high
all letting off some steam
Loud and proud not to be cowed
and into partyin’
We found our pub and ordered mugs
and watched the TV screen
