NOTORIETY
Some people may want fame
and play some circuit game endlessly
Some people may seek virtue
besmirching what they find
with their clean heart and mind
so righteously
Some people may want power
glory wealth honour
beauty and personal sophistication
…or maybe just to lead a nation
somewhere
I don’t care
I’m easy
because notoriety is good enough for me
I’ll let people talk and stare
I’ll let them gawk
I don’t care
I’ll play my games
and we’ll be square
Society is many things
and notoriety is good enough for me
