Let Them savour the fruit of the tree

Give Them some young male captives to torture
as did the Iroquois of old

Empower Them with an Inquisition of their own
to save the souls of boy witches and rich old men

Allow Them their very own Hitler or Moses
so that They may become the equals of men

Grant Them their humanity if not masculinity
so we may all be people again
